YUMMY Lunches Now Available at Camp Live Oak!
Camp Live Oak is excited to offer a new lunch program at both Oleta and Birch parks! We are partnering with Yummy in My Tummy, a local organization that provides affordable, delicious, and organic lunches to schools and camps throughout South Florida. Yummy in My Tummy is a family business that began several years ago when the owners wanted to offer their own child nutritious meals at an affordable price. Yummy in My Tummy will deliver freshly made lunches each day to the camp so that you don’t need to worry about packing a lunch and can be confident that your camper will be eating delicious and nutritious food at camp. There are several meal options to choose from each day so every camper can have their favorite every day or enjoy a variety throughout the week.

We believe that campers of all ages should be offered fresh, wholesome, and nutritious food that is not only good for them, but tastes great! By offering kids lunches with fresh, organic, and natural ingredients, they will reap the highest nutritional benefit possible from their lunches.

Our lunches utilize only the freshest, highest quality organic & natural ingredients available, while offering it to you at an affordable and competitive price. We incorporate whole grains, use organic fruits & vegetables, cook without transfats, and utilize meats that are free of hormones, antibiotics, and other non-YUMMY components. We believe that eating organic and natural food is especially important for children due to their heightened susceptibility to the negative effects of pesticides and additives.
In addition to using only the highest quality ingredients, we also prepare foods that are as nutrient-dense as possible. As parents ourselves, we see how creative Little Tummies of all ages can be when trying to avoid veggies. So, as former children who were incredibly good at averting veggies, we are committed to sneaking them into each and every food possible! Give us a pizza-lover, and we’ll give you a Little Tummy that is eating and loving a 100% organic pizza on a Spinach Crust with a Carrot-Tomato Sauce. Give us a Little Tummy that lives off of Macaroni & Cheese or processed & deep-fried Chicken Nuggets, and we’ll give you a Little Tummy that eats 100% organic Mac & Cheese with a “Hidden” Sweet Potato Puree and Organic & Natural, Fresh Baked Chicken Tenders. These lunches are not only delicious, but also as nutritious as possible…everything is made the Yummy Way!
YUMMY Lunches are Affordable:
Your camper can enjoy these YUMMY lunches for a very reasonable price of $5/day for the regular size, or $5.50/day for the large size (perfect for our hungry campers).
To order Yummy in My Tummy Lunches:CLICK HERE and use the following instructions:
- Click on "Create New Account" and enter in your information and your child(ren)'s information. For "Class" select the park that your camper(s) attend, either Birch in Ft. Lauderdale or Oleta in N. Miami Beach.
- Please make a note of your User Name and Password as you will need it to order in future weeks.
- On the "Directory" Page, click on "Camp Live Oak Order Form" on the top left side.
- You will see the menu options available for each day of the week. The Regular Size is $5.00 and Large is $5.50 per day.
- If you are ordering for multiple campers, you will see their names displayed in the drop down box on the top right, please make sure you make your selections for each individual camper.
- After you have made all of your selections for each day of the week, click on the long grey bar that says "Click here to save the orders for this child" and then click "Check Out" in the center of the top of the page.
- Review your bill on the Payment Page and then click "Continue" to enter your payment information.
- Once you enter your credit card information and click "submit", you are done! You can print a receipt if you'd like, but you do not need to print anything else. Your camper(s) will receive their freshly made lunches the following week.
All lunch orders must be made by Saturday at 5pm prior to the week that you are ordering for. If you need to change an order during the week, the change must be called in to Yummy in My Tummy by 9:30am.
