PADI Advanced Open Water Certification
This course is open to all 10 to 16 year olds that have already completed their basic diving certification, whether through Camp Live Oak or elsewhere. Copy of current certification is required.
Designed to increase your Jr. Diver’s confidence and skills while introducing them to new experiences and more ways to have fun while scuba diving. Campers will start off the week (3 days) by completing their advanced open water certification and participating in adventure dives. Each Adventure Dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. The knowledge and skills campers will develop during the course will vary with the dives, but include information on deep diving, using a compass, and navigating using kick cycles.
On Thursday, your diver will get a moment to relax and enjoy the beauty of Birch State Park. They will partake in activities such as canoeing, archery, or fishing, beach time with paddle boarding and surfing, hands on science and arts and crafts!
Divers will end the week back at Sea Experience, diving and enjoying the magnificent underwater world So. Florida has to offer.
