Education Made Fun at the Miami Children’s Museum

The Miami Children’s museum, located on Watson Island, offers a wide variety of exhibits and opportunities to learn, create and play.  Each ever-changing exhibit in the museum is developed to enhance learning while transforming important concepts into tangible experiences that stay with kids long after they leave. If your children are different ages, you’ll be pleased to know they can still learn in the same exhibits together. The exhibits are multi-tiered so children of various ages and capabilities can explore, learn, and gain confidence.

There are 14 interactive and bilingual exhibits at the museum, including All About Art, Cruise Ship, Port of Miami, Super Market, The Sea and Me, Ocean Odyssey, and My Green Home—just to name a few.

Enroll Your Kids at Camp Live Oak!

Camp Live Oak collaborates with Florida’s State Park System to offer kids a world of fun out in nature. We specialize in South Florida’s ecosystems, teaching kids all about the beautiful and diverse coastal land we call home.

We are the only camp in the area accredited by the American Camp Association, that means we meet (and exceed) over 300 health and safety standards. Parents, enjoy taking some time to yourself while our experienced camp counselors entertain, educate, and supervise your kid(s). Not only will your child or teen have a great time, but they’ll learn all kinds of things about local environments, animals, and even future job opportunities and how to work towards goals.

We offer year-round activities and programs for kids to learn, play, and have fun in a safe and supervised environment. Some of our activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, arts and crafts, surfing, scuba diving, plus so much more!

This has been the first camp ever that my son didn’t complain about going in the morning, but he did tell me about the friends he made and the things he did. We love this camp!
