Camp Live Oak’s Thanksgiving Break Camp blends seasonal fun with outdoor exploration to inspire and delight. With hands-on activities and cozy campfire moments, campers enjoy an autumn filled with discovery and gratitude.

- Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (morning and after care available)

- Cost: $340 per week, or $85 per day. Sibling discount offered.

Fall Is In The Air!
Celebrate the beauty of fall with Camp Live Oak’s Thanksgiving Break Camp! Campers will enjoy the crisp autumn air, make lasting friendships, and engage in fun, nature-inspired activities. From exploring the woods to cozying up around a campfire with yummy treats, this camp is a perfect way to give thanks for all that Mother Earth provides.
Although fall looks a bit different in South Florida, there are still plenty of treasures to uncover in the great outdoors. Join us as we explore the park and enjoy seasonal activities designed to connect campers with nature and the spirit of the season.

Daily Activities
Camp Gratitude: Thanksgiving Adventure at Birch State Park
Ages: 5–13
Groups: Manatees (Ages 5-9) • Panthers (Ages 10–13)
Location: Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Dates: November 24–28 (Closed Thanksgiving Day – November 27)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Theme: Nature, Thankfulness & Discovery
“Paddle of Thanks” – Canoeing & Water Science
The week begins on the park lagoon, where campers learn to paddle, explore teamwork, and appreciate the beauty of nature.
• Manatees (5–9): Enjoy beginner canoeing with close supervision and short group paddles. They’ll look for birds and fish, learn simple water facts, and create “Thankful Paddles” with their names and drawings.
• Panthers (10–13): Take on leadership roles by navigating longer canoe routes and practicing steering and coordination. They’ll test water quality, map their route, and help the younger Manatees during group paddle games.

Morning Care (8:00–9:00 AM): $16 per week or $5 per day (10% Sibling Discount)
After Care (3:30–6:00 PM): $28 per week or $10 per day (10% Sibling Discount)
Both Morning & After Care: $42 per week or $15 per day (10% Sibling Discount)
